허구적인 동시에 일종의 자전적 에세이인 <미완의 언어Words in fragments>는 어떠한 형태로든 주어진 기표와 기의의 레이어로서만 존재하여 개인의 추상성에 맞닿을 수 없는 매체적 언어의 한계를 이야기한다. 추상이 기호로 번역되는 과정에서 발생하는 불가피한 오역은 진공 상태의 언어를 구사하고자 하는 불가능한 욕구로 변모한다. 한편, 이러한 과정에서 선택과 결합만이 인간이 현실을 이해하는 방법이라면, 어쩌면 이 이야기는 보기 좋게 이를 이용해 무의미 시를 흉내내고 있을 수도 있다.

의미와 구조의 인과 관계 없이 이어진 문장과 특정 단어 조각들의 임의적 ‘선택과 결합’은 각기 다른 모니터에서 다른 시간차로 시작과 끝이 없이 반복 재생 됨으로써 무한히 순환되는 이야기를 만들어낸다.

Words in fragments, a kind of autobiographical and fictional essay, says the limit of representation by words that never reach one’s abstraction since it exist just as the layers of signifier and signified. In this process of translation that abstraction became a symbol, unavoidable mistranslation becomes impossible desire to have a command of words in vacuum. Meanwhile, in this process if selecting and grouping is only the way man understands the reality, this story might be imitating the pure poem by exploiting them.

The arbitrary ‘selecting and grouping’ of the particular word fragments and sentences, without any relationship of meaning and structure, makes infinite structure of story by looping on each monitor in different time gap.
